Connie tells us that Bo (formerly Honeybun) is doing grrrrreat! She is a completely different dog now. Super playful and full of energy, I sometimes wonder if it is the same timid and shy girl I adopted just a month ago. She now jumps up on my bed to sleep next to me every night and I just can’t imagine my life without her now. Thank you for sending her to me! :)"
Lucy is Lovin' Life!
Marcy shared the following update with WOOF about her precocious little girl:
“Lucy is great. I love her curiosity and personality. She's probably the best guard dog I've ever had! Lucy has had a big year. She was on a plane, probably for the first time. She was a great traveler! After much research, she has switched to a home cooked diet and she loves it. She has also been going to work with me on occasion and she's made a lot of friends. She went hiking this summer with her big brothers and she did really well. She loves her brothers and I sometimes catch her giving one of them a kiss.
Lucy still prefers to stay inside, but she will occasionally go out for a walk with the big dogs. She doesn't mind being outside in the suburbs, but the city is still too busy for her. All in, I think Lucy is having a good time with me. I've attached a picture of her in her Halloween costume. She really does not like clothes of any kind, so she's being a good sport here.”

Brady & His Forever Family
Rocky And His New Mommy
Smokey now ROCKY is Adopted! This 11 month old Chorkie was purchased from a breeder in PA and surrendered to us seven months later due to “no time”. His foster mom stepped up immediately and decided he was so wonderful that she would provide his forever home.
Brandy the Bumblebee
Brandy’s mom Gayle sent the following note to our organization: Brandy had a good time at her furbaby Halloween party. She was dressed as a bee and even wore the little bee stingers on her head; she generally won't wear anything on her head. That's probably why she's sticking out her tongue at us! She's doing great. A little over 10-years-old, but can act like a goofy puppy when she's in the mood. We're definitely best buds. I'm so happy that you brought her over to the other apartment for a visit. We were meant for each other. Thank you and Woof Dog Rescue for all that you do.
Tanner's Tricks
Tanner’s family tells WOOF that: “The whole family, especially Tanner, is doing great. We continue to bond and grow. He has been learning many new skills and tricks … to stay, catch, stand, turn and get the ball, and drop the ball on command. It’s only been two weeks, but we could not imagine being without him in our family. He loves snuggles, and is super smart and very curious.”
